 126\, Green Library - In person only (limited to 20 registrants)\n	Date and 
 Time: 10:00AM–11:00AM\, Thursday\, July 16\, 2026\n\n\n“Library 
 hand\,” is a penmanship style developed in the mid-1880's for the purpose 
 of keeping catalogs standardized and legible. Just as Dewey himself 
 recommended in 1887\, we will practice “[taking] great pains to have all 
 writing uniform in size\, blackness of lines\, slant\, spacing and forms of 
 letters.”  \n\nParticipants will leave with a physical catalog card for a 
 favorite book that they create themselves using library hand.
