Copyright Confidence: Fundamentals for Library Staff Online

Lead Instructor: Rochelle Lundy (Director, Office of Scholarly Communications)

  • Location: Online via Zoom
  • Date and Time: 2:00PM–3:00PM, Thursday, July 23, 2026

Copyright law is a frequent presence in library work…and a frequent source of anxiety. This practical session is designed to demystify copyright for library staff, regardless of role or SUL unit. We’ll focus on real-world scenarios encountered in daily work in order to build awareness and confidence around copyright and introduce resources to support you in navigating copyright decision-making at SUL.

No prior copyright knowledge or experience is required – feel free to join whether copyright is new to you or you’re seeking to refresh your understanding of copyright basics.
